Формальный английский язык используется в книгах, документах, новостных репортажах, деловых письмах и официальных обращениях.

На неформальном английском общаются в повседневных ситуациях и дружеской переписке.
Предложения в формальном языке, как правило, более длинные и сложные.
Ниже приводятся различия между этими двумя стилями, встречающиеся в переписке по электронной почте.

Formal English
